Hello!

I'm not sure why I am doing this! I thought it would be a nice idea to write down my thoughts and ideas, pieces of written work about my journeys (such as they are!) and things I am doing. It won't be like a daily diary - I'm not disciplined enough to do that, but just as and when I want to write things down, spontaneously. Today is Saturday 8th November 2014. There was a big bonfire/ firework display in a field in the village this evening but I didn't go. When I came back from a day out in Compton Verney with my friend Elaine, you could smell the smoke in the air. It was quite nice. Very November-like.
